Hi everyone, so sorry I seem to have vanished off the face of the earth, I just can't find the time these days to do all I have to do..
I WILL be back soon though I have a few new QP's that I did for Anna over at (Delicious Scraps) that I just have to upload and post so please bear with me..
The reason for my absence is because of my mum's illness, she is Very ill now and we have been told there is nothing more that they can do for her, we are heartbroken, it's so hard seeing what she has been reduced too...Cancer is a terrible illness and I pray everyday that some cure will be found that will take the pain and suffering away...I am there nearly everyday and am shattered when I get back..the only relaxation I can get is my Facebook, it's something I can just get lost in and don't have to think about, thank heavens for Farmville! :-)

so I hope you can understand why I haven't been very active and had no inspiration to create...but I will be back

So please bear with me and keep us in your prayers..

Well Here I am...with a Freebie

So sorry I have been AWOL, time just ran away with me, we had the kids off school so I was looking after them a lot more, and between that and mum and dad I just didn't have the time or energy to do much online..
For my Birthday on the 18th Aug. my hubby booked for us to go to Euro Disney so we took our two youngest Granddaughters Ellie 4 and Ebony 6, and we had a Blast! they we so Good bless em..it was a real treat to have them along..
I have loads of pictures but the switch on my EHD won't turn on!! I am so worked up about it because I have ALL my Pictures on there from years ago too, some are on DVD's but I have been scanning a lot of old photo's and all my new pics since last year or before that I never put onto disc are on there, plus 240 Gig of Scraps and whatever I have made up to a month ago are on there, so you can imagine I am feeling pretty sick about it just now..and could cry..:(

I have been doing a little scrapping though to relax myself..lol

Silly Me..and a freebie for you

Just a short post today, my PC is Kaput so I am having to use my laptop, although I like the laptop to take away with me (and when my PC isn’t working) I hate using it full time, I can’t get to grips using without a mouse wither so have to attach my mouse here, my IT man is away on Holiday until later today so it will probably be a few days before I can get sorted, I am praying he can get me back in there as I have loads of stuff on there that I need!! serves me right I got a little complacent, my EHD is full (3 of them!) and was going to buy one soon so stored things on my PC as there is tons of space..now I can’t get at it..all I get is the Intel logo screen and thats it. Dratt!! *sob*

I had made a Kit to share for the Colour challenge over at DAC but as you may have you guessed it’s on there too..so Karyn kindly let me use some of her lovely Colour Challenge kit to create these BB pages for you..

I hate not to take part over at DAC, I have been a member there as long as it’s been going and Melo is just Wonderful, all the people associated with the site are, it’s such a friendly place to be..

Long Time No Blog

Hi everyone, it's been an age since I last blogged, I have been out of sorts and had very little time or inclination to do much of anything just lately, my M.I.L's death knocked me for 6 and it's been a struggle to come to terms with, things are getting easier but I am sure it will be a while yet until I can get over it...but I have to carry on, the kids finish school here tomorrow and I don't want my miserable face to spoil it for them when they come around more..

So I am putting on my Smiley face and getting down to it.

Here is something I made to share this week that I made using Anna's lovely new kit Marshmallow it's in her shop just now on Special at the

here is the preview of the page, it's a layout I did of my Oldest daughter Samantha just after she had our oldest Grandson Liam, he left school this week! gosh where does time go to....

here is another layout I did using the kit, this is also Samantha at stages through her life, I called it the "Circle Of Life"

so you can see the kit is so adaptable, and can be used for so many types of layout..
I am now a CT member over at SDK! I worked on a Beautiful new kit in the shop by Scrappin Diva (Kristi W) ~ I Do Believe a kit packed with so many goodies! you will have to see for yourself...

here are 2 layouts I did of my youngest granddaughter Ellie on her 4th birthday using the kit,

Back again...and so Sad

Hi all, it's been a very fraught couple of weeks, and tonight we lost my dear M.I.L to Alzheimers..:( although they have been saying the last couple of weeks that she is near the end it's still a terrible thing to hear..she was a lovely Gentle Lady..and I have missed her over the last couple of years that she has been suffering with this awful thing, she was not only my mother in law she was a Good Friend...
On the subject of my mum the news is better than we expected (Thank God!) her tumour has shrunk, and could shrink further, they can't operate to remove it yet because of her being on Warfrin for the clots on her lungs, until she has been on it 6 months they say it can be dangerous, but she is now happier in herself..

I had made these QP's for Fathers Day pages for tomorrow so I am posting them early as we will have our kids over tomorrow and I won't get much chance for a few days
I made them with Ann's (Delicious Scraps) Kit Thank You Dad..

Update and a Freebie QP

Sorry it's been so long, it's getting so hard to get down to all I have to do just now, my poor blog has to come in way down the list, ahh what I wouldn't give for some Normality!
Mum had to go to for tests last week, MRI and CT, I went with her both times, I don't know who gets more worked up her or me! today she had an appointment with the Oncology Nurse, just a check up really, we did think she would get the test results but not so, on Thursday she goes again to see the Surgeon, he will then probably tell her how it's going, if the tumour has shrunk or spread, God forbid it has!
anyhoo enough of that, the weather here has been glorious, not that I have seen much of it, but we did manage to get to the Caravan for the weekend so I took my trusty laptop and here is a little something I made for you using Rachael's new Kit, A New Day

Col.Challenge Freebie

Hi all, just a quick post to let you know I am still here, Very busy as per usual!!
This weekend my hubby is over in Spain so I have used the time to decorate my bedroom, our 2 grandson's came to help me and boy was I glad of them!! *love you lads*. they were wonderful, Josh is 12 and Liam is 16 and he is so strong! he is only 10stone wet through but strong as an ox, our Josh stayed the night here and was a Great help putting everything back with me today..
I just got myself locked out! what happened was my sister called on her way to mum's and I was lending her some books for her to read, I ran out when I saw the car and when I turned back the flippin door had closed on me! there was I stood on the front (We live on a Busy main road) pants and top full of paint my hair snatched back in a pony tail (don't think I even combed it today) luckily she hadn't pulled off so I ran after her and she took me to my daughters to get a key, it was lucky she was in as she had been out to lunch at Dave's brothers..
Once I got back in I decided to get the last few bits of this kit finished and now I am going to have a stiff drink, a long soak and an early night
Before I go here are a couple of layouts I have done using the new Love Earth kit by Delicious Scraps, it's Gorgeous!! and on sale for just $1!! I honestly don't know how Anna can be so generous! she is amazing!

look at this Sheep! it was so funny, we were walking along a country lane near the caravan when I saw this above us on a bit of a hill, so I started to snap away with my camera, I thought it would run away as we got near but the thing never moved only his head and followed me with his eyes all the way past! I wished I had my video camera with me

Long time no post!!

Hi all, I know I am a stranger these days, it's hard trying to keep up here with going to mum's more just now....
She is getting more and more down due to the tests that she knows will be coming when she goes back to see her Consultant on Monday..it's a strain on us all...
I have not been back long one of my sisters and I have ben working the last 2 days on making a new Headboard for mum and dad's bed, I could kick myself for not taking pictures along the way, to see a piece of MDF turn into the completed Headboard now is amazing!! the downside is I have lost 5 of my nails in the process!! *sob* doing these jobs sure is hard on a gal :( when I go tomorrow I will take a picture to show you the result..:)

Oh Baby..

Hi folks, today I got to play with a Great new Kit Oh Baby, by Karen Clarke from DAC.. it's a lovely Bright fun kit, perfect for your precious baby and many other Layouts too..

included in the kit are 15 Background Papers, 32 Elements, a Full Alpha, lower and upper case letters, numbers and some symbols.

Here are 3 Layouts of our youngest granddaughter that I did using the kit, you can see how versatile it is...

I am just working on a freebie too, so pop back later in the week and I will have it uploaded and ready for you...
We are having new Gas pipes along our road, it's a MESS!! we have a big hole right outside our front gates, luckily we were able to get the car in the Garage when they put a plate over it before the left for the night, I am just hoping it doesn't rain until they get it finished because the muck will all tread in the house..we live on a Very busy main road and have temporary traffic lights outside, all the pavements are dug up, it's a nightmare, we have this all around the area now for 26 weeks!!!
It really needs doing because there has been a strong smell of Gas here for months if not years,the men working on it for the National Grid say the pipes are so old they are rotting..hence the leaks, so we should get a lot better pressure too when it's done...roll on...lol

DAC Col.Challenge Freebie Kit

Hi everyone, I hope you had a Good Easter Holiday, we had a nice quiet and relaxing time at the Caravan, the weather was Beautiful!
Thankfully I have my Boiler fixed now and am I glad too as it's turned so chilly here! I only said to my dad today how soft this Central Heating has made us, however did we manage years ago with just the coal fires!! brrrr...:)

Freebie, 2 Easter QP's

Hi everyone, have you ever had "one of them days!!" ? it's been a corker here..
to start with we have no gas on here just now, we have had problems with our Heating, the engineer came to service the boiler yesterday and last night it packed in, I got him back out today and the outcome is that until next Tuesday (because of the Easter Holiday) we will have no Gas, no Hot Water or Cooker, it's freezing here just now!
So off I went to do my stuff at mum's then onto our oldest daughters to baby sit, I had promised the 2 youngest granddaughters to make some small cakes with them today, well Easter Bird's Nest types, (cornflake cakes with choc. syrup and Cadbury's mini eggs on top) I had gotten everything together to do them before leaving home this morning.. I got to their house emptied my bag and had forgot the flippin' chocolate bars to melt down, so that was the end of that for today!
Well enough of that...I am depressing myself!

A Little Sunshine Freebie

Before I start today some people are having a problem downloading the 1st OP I did using the Fresh kit, so I uploaded it again, I just tested the link and it worked OK for me, so here is the new link..Fresh QP1..sorry to anyone that has been having problems.

Thankfully mum got home late yesterday, she is very tired and has to have Oxygen for 12 hours at least a day but hopefully she will get stronger now she is at home, I think as long as she does as she is told she will be OK..:)

Easter QP

Hi all, the weekend is near...Yipee! although it won't make a lot of difference here, we were hoping to go to open up our Caravan for the season but because of mum's illness I want to be at home just now, the season runs's from 1st March until 31st October and as yet we haven't been able to go, I really miss going it's so Peaceful and Relaxing up there..here is me there last year..

ah well maybe next week....
although Mum now has blood clots on her lungs and is having Injections in her tummy to thin her blood down, she will be starting on Warfrin sometime soon too..isn't it awful how one thing turns to another!

I downloaded a lovely Freebie from June this week called "Almost Easter" and had to play with it!
I created a QP to share with you while I was at it, the preview is the layout below, hope someone can use it..

Colour Challenge Freebie

Good morning to you, it's going to be a rush post today, I have to go to town to find some Talking Books to take to the Hospital for mum, she should have been out of there on Friday but hasn't been very well, they thought she'd had a slight stroke on Thursday that's not the case but she, but has lost a day somewhere she says, she is very confused and at the weekend had to have 3 pints of blood, her blood count is very low, so until they can get it stable she has to stay in there..now she has picked up a Chest Infection and was on Oxygen the last 2 days, it's a Very worrying time so please keep us in your Thoughts and Prayers..
I have a little gift today of a kit I made for the Colour Challenge over at DAC...

Springy QP Freebie

Hi again, I hope you are all having a Good weekend, I am tired today, we got in pretty early though last night from Babysitting, about 12-30, but I had to stay up and read, I got lost in my book and before I knew it was 2 o'clock!!
the kids were Great, of course they tried it on being "Nan" that was there, they know they can wrap me around their little fingers, tried to tell me that mum lets them stay up until late..lol..but I know better but I needn't have bothered, they each were getting drowsy just after 9 and one by one said they were going to bed..after a quick kiss and cuddle they were tucked in and in less than 5 min's were sound asleep..bless em!
I was awakened by Jasmine (10) this morning with a text at 07-35! saying "Thanks for looking after us Nan, we love you..xxx" awww was worth being disturbed for..lol.

Fresh QP Freebie

Hi again, hope all is well in your world..
mine is one round of Hospital visit's and babysitting duties these day's..mum finished her daily Radiation therapy treatments and goes back into Hospital on Monday for a final week of Chemo and Radiation..it's been so tiring, especially for mum the going back and forth for the treatment everyday but it is behind her now and she will be able to relax a little when she goes in to stay on Monday, some people do choose to stay in Hospital until their treatment is over but mum won't, she is as terrified of Hospitals, as I am!
The staff over at Clatterbridge Hospital are Wonderful, we can't praise them enough, nothing is too much trouble for them, they are True Angels..
and speaking of Angels here is a layout I have done of one of ours..well she is when she is asleep.lol..

Hi all, thanks for all the well wishes for my mum, she is still in Hospital yet, she should have got out yesterday but she wasn't too well so she has to wait until the Doctor does his rounds today and they will decide if she can come home today...she will have to go back every Monday thru to Friday for 6 weeks! it's a long trek especially for someone who is not very well to start with, it's an hour + travelling time, & depending on traffic can be a lot longer!
I have had the pleasure of testing some new styles for Bannerwoman this week and I have to tell you they are GREAT!!
here is a sneak peek at the preview of them...they can be used on so many different things, Elements, Alpha's are perfect for them....I tested in PSE 5 and CS3..

what a hectic few days for me!

Hi all, I got back from holiday Friday lunchtime, worn out and frazzled!
I did some unpacking, put a wash on then decided to try to go to bed for an hour or so, some chance! I was unable to sleep so 'phoned my kids to catch up then up they came..lol..
last night I wasn't able to sleep either when I went to bed, I must have been overtires, so up I got again and worked and got stuck into my Blog Train commitments and other things, here is a template I did to share with you. it's my part of the DAC Template Challenge for this month..there are a lot of great templates to download as part of the challenge, it's amazing to see how many different templates can be made out of the pieces we are given to start with..:)

my mum starts her treatment on Monday, she goes in for Radiotherapy, comes home after it, then returns Tuesday to start Chemotherapy, she will be in Hospital a week..then she goes everyday for 6 weeks for more Chemo and then back in for a final week before then going to see the Consultant to see if the Tumour has shrunk enough to operate on to remove it, God Willing it will be and the Op can go ahead! so please keep us in your Thoughts and Prayers..:)
well I best be getting down to my CT Layouts, I have a LOT of work to do to catch up.. ;-(
Anyone got any matchsticks to keep my peepers open?? lol

Hi all..we made it to Florida safe and sound, I was out of my tree in Vegas, it's too much for me, but the wedding was great fun, I will post pics when I can get them onto my computer.

Yikes I have so much to tell you I don't know where to start!
let me start off with the Best News of all! the news from the hospital is better than we expected! Thank God! My mum is starting treatment on Monday, she will have Chemo and Radiation Therapy, and hopefully in 8 weeks she will have more CAT Scan and MRI tests and they are hoping the tumour is shrunk enough to Operate on to remove it, she does have a large tumour but they are pretty sure it will be OK..so THANK YO UALL who kept us in Their Thoughts and Prayers, we are not out of the woods yet but it's looking a lot better now..
I have recieved 2 awards this week from 2 lovely ladies, this one is from Kicki

I am so honoured and say a BIG THANK you to both of you..:)
I will pass them on but just now I have loads to do as we are going on Holiday early tomorrow morning!
I will be away from the tomorrow the 25th Jan until the 14th Feb..it was all in the balance due to mum's illness but we are going now..mum & dad and the rest of the family didn't want us to Cancel it, my heart isn't in it but I don't want mum to feel she is the cause of us not going, she would be mortified if we did that..
We fly to Las Vegas for 5 days first as our friends are getting married there and then we fly to Florida for the rest of the Holiday, we should be returning on the 14th Feb..I am only just now sorting and packing, I wouldn't even consider it before this..
My next news is that I have been product testing a new Style for Bannerwoman.
It will be in her store very soon (Monday I think) so I have made a Freebie out of the bit's I made with the style, it's Wonderful! the more I play the more I want to! it put's an outline around your elements & it's great for Alpha's too

Hi all, this typing is a nightmare!! I have been and treated myself to false nails! I have always been a nail biter and am ashamed of showing my hands off anywhere, so I took the plunge and went today for them done, it's a PITA trying to type and this post is taking me forever! but "Pride must abide" as they say here so I have to grin and get used to them :) thank Heaven for my "Spell checker" is all I can say..lol..

Hi everyone, hope you are all having a nice relaxing weekend? I really should be getting myself organized to go to Las Vegas next Sunday but as yet I just can't get in the mood, it all depends on what happen's this week with mum and her test results..when my hubby even mentions the Holiday I turn away and don't take him on, it's a shame as he loves his Holidays..but...

Whoowhoo! I was made up to get the MOTD ("Masterpieces" of the Day) over at Osten Wilkins Design's Forum yesterday, I got it for my latest layout using the Beautiful kit from Delicious Scraps called Anniversarie that I also blogged about yesterday (see post below) I had a big wide grin on my chops, made even wider by the fact that I was RAK'd by a lovely lady, Maree from For Ever More Creations, she sent me the lovely kit she has for sale just now over at DAC Called Pitter Patter

First of thanks for the lovely words and Prayers that are being said for my mum, we sure appreciate all of them..and are trying to stay positive until next Thursday when we get the results..so fingers crossed for us...

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been around, I got some bad news on Monday that has rocked my world and this is the first day I have felt able to actually post.. Who wants a little freebie?

Hi everyone, hope you are all well and had a Great Christmas :)
we had a lovely time, we went to our youngest daughters house for Christmas dinner and All the Family went to our oldest daughters for Boxing Day dinner..
It was great spending time with ALL the family together, I could scream though my camera battery died and my other camera took terrible pics :( I had to delete most of them..grrr.. It's a Fuji FinePix S7000 and for the life of me I can't get the settings right... that's one of our Ellie, can you see the wand she is holding how blurred it is? most of them had spots on them like that a lot of the pic was clear and then the blurry bit's...:'(
I am just hoping the girls got some good ones of the kids and will bring their memory cards for me to get them off..

I have been testing a great new product from Megadoodle, it's called a Stuffing Style, it's Great! you can use it for so many things, it has a textured fur look to it..it's on Sale just now at these and other stores..

A Glittery Xmas Gift for U

Hi everyone, just a Quick post today, it's been non stop here now for days and today it's been like an open house here!
I have just managed to get my beef and turkey in the oven and am going to cook tea, have a shower get my new pj's on (a Christmas eve ritual..lol ) then switch my computer off and spend a few hours with my dear hubby tonight, but I wanted wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and All The Very Best for 2009..before I do..:)

Sneak Peek and a Freebie

Hi everyone, hope you're all set for the Christmas Holiday?
I have been busy wrapping pressie's up today and didn't realize just how much I had actually got! just after lunch I got a call from my mum asking me to go shopping to Asda with her, it was chaos! the car park was packed so dad dropped us off and went home and I gave him a call when to pick us back up again...the shop was a nightmare, why do people get so bad at holiday time, you would think the shops were not opening up again for weeks! let alone closing for a day or so...
Hopefully I have all my shopping in now, well apart from my veggies so first thing Tuesday I am going to get them and that's my lot! whatever I haven't got now we will do without...lol..
We did bag a bargain though today! I got a text from a friend to say that the

Dora Doll House that our 2 daughters were going to get for the kids were on special in a store on the retail park so off we dashed, it was £97.89 knocked down to £29.99!!! so we couldn't leave it there at that price! isn't that Great! it just shows how much we are being ripped off if a store can afford to knock it down so much! I have been trying to add a link for a slide show to show off layouts but I just can't for the life of me figure it out, I think I will have to study some more..:(
I received an email from a lady showing me what she had done with some of my BB pages and they look Great!isn't that baby just the cutest!! just look at those Gorgeous big dark eyes!

A little Freebie for you

Hi, me again, its been a little hectic here the last week or so trying to cram everything in that I haven't done for Christmas..like shopping, cleaning getting some new blinds for all around the house (they look Great!) putting my tree up and so on and so on...lol..

DAC Blog Party QP2

Here is another of my QP's that I made for the DAC Blog Party week from my portion of the kit, you will find the link below..

We had a good day today, us girls, well my daughters and I, we were putting up the Christmas tree at our oldest daughter Samantha's house, Julie, our youngest is a dab hand at putting tree's up, she dresses them Beautifully! and Samantha gets her to do it every year :)
When the little one came home from Nursery she was made up, her little face was a picture, and I had done all our Granddaughters a letter from Santa so when she wasn't looking we dropped it onto the mat in the hall and pretended the Post Man had delivered it, she is 4 in April and was amazed when I read it out to her, to think that Santa had wrote to her..lol..
it's the little things like that which make Christmas Special for me...she is in her Nursery Nativity play the week after next so is going around singing of Snowmen and snowdrops just now, I can't wait to see it although I best take my tissues..:( lol..I am a big old softie.

last night I was testing a Mega Bow action for Megadoodle and got a bit carried away..lol..so here is the result to share with you, I made a couple of each bow in the different papers from my Blog Party kit so I am going to share them with you, hope someone can use them..

It's a bitter cold day here and very slippery underfoot, the frost is thin on the ground but it's not thawing at all, it's dusk now and the sky looks ominous, we have been told to expect snow overnight...one of our Son-in-Laws was supposed to be working in Manchester today, which is about 15 miles away from here and they have over 4inches of snow,he was unable to work as he is a builder and had to come back home, a journey of usually 15 - 20 mins took him over 3 hours! because there was a bad accident on the "Road from Hell" better known as the M6!! so bad in fact that everyone had to do a U turn on the Motorway and get off the way they got on there... I just hope nobody as seriously injured..I haven't seen any news yet..
Well that's all for me for today, I have another couple of gifts for you so pop back again soon

Another Ellie & Jo QP

Just a short post before I go drop into bed, for the last 2 days I have felt pretty rotten, I think I have caught whatever our kids have had and if they felt as bad as I have done these last 2 days no wonder they were feeling miserable..poor things, one of my daughters had to take the little one to the "Out of Hours Surgery" in the town centre 2 nights ago at 11-45pm as the on call doctor WON'T come out here now, so you have to get the kids wrapped up and drag them into town, risk the town centre nightlife or in most case lowlife, which here is very busy as we have a Lot of Pub's and Bar's in town...then to wait to see someone that told them to take her home, give her Calpol (the be all and end all of children's medicine with the doctors for kids these days) and to take her to our own Doctor if no change within 48hrs! that's easier said than done as my mum had to phone for an appointment for herself and has to wait 9 days for it!! grr I best not go on my BP is going up!! lol..

Christmas Morning..My Part of Collab

3rd Background Freebie

Oh my poor aching eyes and head!
I have been asked to scan and fix some old pictures for my mum and dad, I spent over 6 hrs yesterday on one! that is all creased and marked, so I had to try to clone them out...and have been at it again today for a couple of hours.

Oh how I wish there was an easy way to do it! but it will be worth it though because it's the only picture of my dad when he was a child that we know about, it was found by his nephew when he was sorting his dad's shed out after he died...there is a bag of old pics, mainly of dad's family, so I got roped in to try to rescue them. whatever they were in the shed for we don't know, it could be when they had their house renovated and things got put in and never made it back into the house, we haven't a clue. it's a terrible shame as there is a pic of my Great Grandmother at a family wedding in there too! I was in my element going through them, I just love ol photo's..
well before I get back to them I have some more Backgrounds to add for you..here is the preview, they were more made with Megadoodle Inspired pattern's

Free Background Papers

Hi all, this is the first chance I have had since I got back to actually post!
Our break to France went well and we had a good time, that is until we got back to the Ferry terminal ,our Ferry had been Impounded! we were stranded and had to drive to try to get back home over the sea..
We drove first to the Channel Tunnel, which was so Expensive! 220+ Euro's! for a short half hour's journey! there was no way we would pay that! so we then had to drive to Calais and try to get a Ferry there, we were lucky we got one (Sea France) pretty quick that was 119 Euro's because we had no reservation :( the original price we paid was 30 Euro's on Sea Ferries so it was a big expense that we could have done without! now we have to try to get the money back off the cancelled ferry...I think we are jinxed! (hence my nickname Jinxy, given to my by my best friend) something ALWAYS goes wrong for us! lol...ah well it all add's to the memories..:)

2 More QP's For You

Hi, I have been having a right old time trying to post to my blog tonight! I hope this finally works! what a looooooong day! sat in a hospital waiting room all Morning is no joke, well we were sat there over 2 and a half hours then we were only in with the doctor for 5mins!! mum is fine although very sore due to him prodding and poking,poor thing didn't have the procedure today, she has to wait again until they send for her, he said it could be before Christmas or maybe not, he just can't say. :S

Ellie enjoyed being with her "Father" today, although she did say she missed me, bless her :) then this afternoon she was dashing around as per usual and she slid down the stairs oh her rear as she does! and yep she slipped a little too fast and banged her head in the wall then toppled down the last few stairs, as you can guess we had the tears! she soon got over it, I think it was the fright she got more than anything, she took some calming down, Tinkerbell helped too her get over it too, thank heaven for DVD's..lol

There wasn't much noise here last night from the fireworks, it's the quietest it's been for years, I was relieved, other years it's been like bedlam so it was a nice change. well enough of me prattling on...

Freebie Number's 3 & 4

Hi again, here is the 3rd page in the Album for you, it's one I made using Lynn Griffin's portion of the DAC. Holiday Traditions Collab Kit, I just love the rich red paper and that tree is Great isn't it?
I will give you another Freebie today too, it will be the 4th page of the Album, this one was made using Mamrotka's portion I kept this simple but I loved that tag and glittery doodle so I had to get them in somewhere...lol.
I am busy trying to fit everything in this week, tomorrow I am going to the Hospital for 9-30 with my mum, she is having minor surgery but she will only be in for a few hours, or the day, depending how she is, as we pick Ellie up from Nursery on Thursday's I have had to juggle things to get it covered, but it's ok because my hubby will do that and keep her amused..hehehe he will be OK though, I have got Tinkerbell and Sleeping Beauty out ready for her to watch on DVD, that will keep her quiet for a few hours..:)
Then on Friday I will be taking our Ellie to Nursery, then we are setting off and going to France, we sail from Dover to Dunkirk, but first we have to suffer the nightmare that is the M6! that truly is a "Road To Hell" or a Hellish Road! it's a task I dread but we have to go that way :(

I will be back tomorrow maybe with 2 more to share, Thanks to the people that have said "Thank You" it really means a lot :)

Hi there, anyone want a rotten cold?? :( ....I just knew I would pick this up off our Ellie this week, it's been a while since I had one so I suppose I am due, my eyes are streaming, my throat is sore, my chest hurts with coughing, apart from that I am fine..:S

it's been a busy week here with the kids being off school, but I have made some Freebies for you that I will be adding all week, I got to use the Great new Collab Kit from DAC called Holiday Traditions..

here is what I did with it..hope you like it...

My plans to spend time with the kids have gone astray! well I have been spending time with them just not doing what I was going to do...two of the poor little ones, Ebony and Ellie have both got rotten cough's and colds, so my time has been spent mollycoddling them..rather than baking and so on, I hate to see them poorly! they are both into Little Einstein's and I had managed to buy them 2 DVD's supposedly for Christmas but I got them out to cheer them up, so that's kept them amused a little...
It's turned Very cold here today in fact it tried to snow at tea time, I hate the snow! well not the snow but the ice and slippy stuff that comes with it, I am terrified of falling!
Well I am off to see what I can make, I feel like doing something! I have the bug..lol..

It's half term here so our Grandkids are picking what days they are coming to stay! why is it kids these days are forever saying they "are Bored" or they "have nothing to do" ?? lol..
they love being here because "Nan" does a lot with them, I have got the makings of some fairy cakes and yeast to make some bread with the girls, and one of my grandsons wants me to set up a blog or web site for him, so that will all keep me occupied some this week!

I have been playing with a Wonderful new Acrylic Action freebie from Megadoodle Inspired and have made some little Acrylic shapes to share with you..they are in .png format, so easy for all program users to be able to use.

I have made more but will include them in another project I am working on :)

Have you been to June's blog and downloaded the lovely freebie she is giving away this last week, here is a preview of the elements, it's so different! I love it..

What A Difference A Day Makes! + Freebie

as it says in the song, we have been away for the weekend and decided to stay over until today, it's amazing how just one extra day can make so much difference! I have been like a mad woman since we got back playing catch up..it's been a cold, wet and windy weekend, yesterday we went up onto Ilkley Moor Or Ilkla Mooar baht 'at or translated on Ilkley Moor without a hat...lol..they are words of a popular folk song from Yorkshire, England. It is sung in the Yorkshire dialect, and is considered the unofficial anthem of the county...oh and Ee by gum it was cold! I was wishing I did have a Hat with me! here is a little pic I took, I have more but they are still on my camera

I always take my laptop and try to do a couple of Layouts, I got the new kit from Brenda before we left on Friday so was so happy to play around with it, I had taken some Pictures last year on Remembrance Sunday in Eypres, Belgium and was looking for something to use to do some layouts with them and this fitted the bill perfectly..

Hi all, I have been testing an Alpha Action for MegaDoodle Inspired, it's the Alpha Cutting action with a 6x5 grid that worked in PS and PSE

This action goes for $5.00 but you can find it at www.commercial-use.com for $4.50 just now..Check it out you will not be dissapointed..

I created this Alpha, the first I have ever made in less that 15 mins! That's Great for me, such a time saver..

I did it in one of the colours of the Sept Collab kit I did with the girls of June's CT so you can have it as another little add-on, if I keep this up this will be the biggest kit in my stash! I just keep adding to it, I had best get onto other things soon, I have another freebie that I will upload to 4shared and that will be my last I Promise!! lol

I have been using June's newest kit Forgotten Dreams

it's a Beautiful Kit! I created these layouts with it..

this is of my Mum and Dad about 30 years or so ago, just look at mum's skirt!! lol..

this one is of my mum's parent's my Nan & Father, Father was a RSM in the Army and the pic was taken as he was going off to war, sadly Nan only lived until 1957 and the 2nd pic is Father on Holiday in Torquay..sadly he died too 5 years ago..it's lovely to be able to keep their memories alive like this..

This last one is our oldest Granddaughter Jasmine, during the run up to the school was doing a Project and they had to dress up in old costume, doesn't she look sweet!!
If you pop over to June's Blog you are in for a treat, she is giving away one of her older kits Little Blossoms, she is giving it in 3 parts and part 2 is today so go and grab it..and part 1 is still up for grabs too..

I'm Here again..

Hi again, I am hopeless at this Blogging thing, real life takes over at times and I can't seem to find the hours to get everything in! I do admire the ones that Blog every or nearly everyday! I wish they would give me some tips..:D

We went to the caravan this weekend, the season is over on the 31st October so we only have the next two weekends there and will have to go and make it secure for the winter, bring the foodstuff home that will won't keep, defrost the freezer and so on...it's as well really as it was so cold up there this morning, frosty and foggy..brrrrr
here is a picture of the view we have from our front on a bad day ~

..and here is one my hubby took last year of me sunning myself! he can't take a picture to save his life, he always mucks it up..lol..

I have been testing some Butterfly Actions today for Angie over at ScrappinMommyDesigns they are Great..there are two styles so I made a couple of different colours with each Action and am going to share them with you, hope someone can use them..

Hi everyone, I have been playing with the Great new kit The Science Fair - Brenda Mascari (of Millstream Cottage)

it's a kit Brenda has dedicated to her grandson Luke, and is loaded with goodies for all kinds of layout's as you can see from the ones I have done below it's adaptable to so many kinds of pages :)

September Collab Kit

Football Anyone?

Well I am back, I lost my Internet connection before I could add this to my blog last Friday, we were going away for the weekend and when I opened my Internet up..Zilch! it took me until yesterday to get back online so without further ado here is a little something I made for you using another Megadoodle Test Assignment..
We were given The Football Plays Assembly Kit and the Football Word Art & Brushes, I thought would be a nightmare for me, knowing hardly anything about Football apart from a glance when my hubby is watching it.. but when I got into it I enjoyed doing it, as I am from the UK I created a kit that I hope you like...it has Papers, a Strip, Boots, Whistle, a Trophy & a couple of Flags...here is what we were given to play with..it can be used for many things too...a school theme was done by Beth and it's Gorgeous!

Here is the preview of the kit that's now available in a Huge Collaboration Grab Bag from 21 Sept - 05 Oct exclusively at Commercial Create and then will be available separately in her stores after that.
