Well Here I am...with a Freebie

So sorry I have been AWOL, time just ran away with me, we had the kids off school so I was looking after them a lot more, and between that and mum and dad I just didn't have the time or energy to do much online..
For my Birthday on the 18th Aug. my hubby booked for us to go to Euro Disney so we took our two youngest Granddaughters Ellie 4 and Ebony 6, and we had a Blast! they we so Good bless em..it was a real treat to have them along..
I have loads of pictures but the switch on my EHD won't turn on!! I am so worked up about it because I have ALL my Pictures on there from years ago too, some are on DVD's but I have been scanning a lot of old photo's and all my new pics since last year or before that I never put onto disc are on there, plus 240 Gig of Scraps and whatever I have made up to a month ago are on there, so you can imagine I am feeling pretty sick about it just now..and could cry..:(

I have been doing a little scrapping though to relax myself..lol
I did a couple of layouts for Anna over at Delicious Scraps using a few of her Gorgeous kits

I just did a couple of Layouts using Rachael's lovely kit Vintage Dolls Revisited that can be bought at her store just now at 35% Off! and if you buy the collection you get the add on free!
Rachael is re-doing some of her kits and adding a new take on the older kit's, they are worth checking out The Heirlooms Revisited kit is also another great kit to look at...

Silly Me..and a freebie for you

Just a short post today, my PC is Kaput so I am having to use my laptop, although I like the laptop to take away with me (and when my PC isn’t working) I hate using it full time, I can’t get to grips using without a mouse wither so have to attach my mouse here, my IT man is away on Holiday until later today so it will probably be a few days before I can get sorted, I am praying he can get me back in there as I have loads of stuff on there that I need!! serves me right I got a little complacent, my EHD is full (3 of them!) and was going to buy one soon so stored things on my PC as there is tons of space..now I can’t get at it..all I get is the Intel logo screen and thats it. Dratt!! *sob*

I had made a Kit to share for the Colour challenge over at DAC but as you may have you guessed it’s on there too..so Karyn kindly let me use some of her lovely Colour Challenge kit to create these BB pages for you..

I hate not to take part over at DAC, I have been a member there as long as it’s been going and Melo is just Wonderful, all the people associated with the site are, it’s such a friendly place to be..

Long Time No Blog

Hi everyone, it's been an age since I last blogged, I have been out of sorts and had very little time or inclination to do much of anything just lately, my M.I.L's death knocked me for 6 and it's been a struggle to come to terms with, things are getting easier but I am sure it will be a while yet until I can get over it...but I have to carry on, the kids finish school here tomorrow and I don't want my miserable face to spoil it for them when they come around more..

So I am putting on my Smiley face  and getting down to it.

Here is something I made to share this week that I made using Anna's lovely new kit  Marshmallow it's in her shop just now on Special at the

here is the preview of the page, it's a layout I did of my Oldest daughter Samantha just after she had our oldest Grandson Liam, he left school this week! gosh where does time go to....

here is another layout I did using the kit, this is also Samantha at stages through her life, I called it the "Circle Of Life"

so you can see the kit is so adaptable, and can be used for so many types of layout..
I am now a CT member over at SDK!  I worked on a Beautiful new kit in the shop by Scrappin Diva (Kristi W) ~ I Do Believe a kit packed with so many goodies! you will have to see for yourself...

here are 2 layouts I did of my youngest granddaughter Ellie on her 4th birthday using the kit,

Back again...and so Sad

Hi all, it's been a very fraught couple of weeks, and tonight we lost my dear M.I.L to Alzheimers..:(  although they have been saying the last couple of weeks that she is near the end it's still a terrible thing to hear..she was a lovely Gentle Lady..and I have missed her over the last couple of years that she has been suffering with this awful thing, she was not only my mother in law she was a Good Friend...
On the subject of my mum the news is better than we expected (Thank God!) her tumour has shrunk, and could shrink further, they can't operate to remove it yet because of her being on Warfrin for the clots on her lungs, until she has been on it 6 months they say it can be dangerous, but she is now happier in herself..

I had made these QP's for Fathers Day pages for tomorrow so I am posting them early as we will have our kids over tomorrow and I won't get much chance for a few days
I made them with Ann's (Delicious Scraps) Kit Thank You Dad..

Update and a Freebie QP

Sorry it's been so long, it's getting so hard to get down to all I have to do just now, my poor blog has to come in way down the list, ahh what I wouldn't give for some Normality!
Mum had to go to for tests last week, MRI and CT, I went with her both times, I don't know who gets more worked up her or me! today she had an appointment with the Oncology Nurse,  just a check up really, we did think she would get the test results but not so, on Thursday she goes again to see the Surgeon, he will then probably tell her how it's going, if the tumour has shrunk or spread, God forbid it has!
anyhoo enough of that, the weather here has been glorious, not that I have seen much of it, but we did manage to get to the Caravan for the weekend so I took my trusty laptop and here is a little something I made for you using Rachael's new Kit, A New Day
