Happy Birthday To Me!

yep it's that day today! but at my age you wanna forget all about them :-{

although it's been a lovely day, my 2 daughters, one son-in-law, and all 5 of our Grand kids took me out for lunch...we went to a new Carvery not too far from here, it was a lovely meal, although I am a Vegetarian they still cater for the likes of me....
I rarely eat at lunchtime so I decided on a vegi burger, salad and chips, the sweet's there are to die for! but I couldn't finish my first course so no way could I eat that, Not to be outdone my daughter got me one in a box to bring home! I was treated to a slice of Carrot cake that must be 9inches high! I really should have taken pictures of it but the girl's wouldn't let me lol..it's still sitting in my fridge, I best get it soon before my hubby lay's claim to it..

I got some lovely pressie's too, a handbag, purse, a sweater, nightdress, slippers, 2 toiletry set's from Next, 2 bouquet's of flowers, 2 box's of choc's, a lovely fridge magnet with a poem about mum's that made me cry :( oh I forgot what else..:-} didn't I do well! I am so blessed....
