Whoowhoo Blog Train Comin Thru'

what a hectic few days for me!
So bad in fact I forgot we had tickets for the Theatre tonight! we only got back in about 30 min's ago, it was Great though. it was a Variety show with something for everyone, Motown, Comic's, Elvis type, old Irish music, oh all sorts! :)
I have been working so hard to get my Digital Candy and Digital Arts Cafe Blog Train contributions out on time, silly me thought I was well on with the DAC BT until I realized my mistake, I had only done my part of the kit in the DAC Colour Challenge Colour Swatch! so I had to re-do it an here is my result..

Template Freebie

Hi all, I got back from holiday Friday lunchtime, worn out and frazzled!
I did some unpacking, put a wash on then decided to try to go to bed for an hour or so, some chance! I was unable to sleep so 'phoned my kids to catch up then up they came..lol..
last night I wasn't able to sleep either when I went to bed, I must have been overtires, so up I got again and worked and got stuck into my Blog Train commitments and other things, here is a template I did to share with you. it's my part of the DAC Template Challenge for this month..there are a lot of great templates to download as part of the challenge, it's amazing to see how many different templates can be made out of the pieces we are given to start with..:)

my mum starts her treatment on Monday, she goes in for Radiotherapy, comes home after it, then returns Tuesday to start Chemotherapy, she will be in Hospital a week..then she goes everyday for 6 weeks for more Chemo and then back in for a final week before then going to see the Consultant to see if the Tumour has shrunk enough to operate on to remove it, God Willing it will be and the Op can go ahead! so please keep us in your Thoughts and Prayers..:)
well I best be getting down to my CT Layouts, I have a LOT of work to do to catch up.. ;-(
Anyone got any matchsticks to keep my peepers open?? lol

I had the Pleasure to meet up with a dear scrapland friend yesterday, Cindy and her hubby Rob..we spent the afternoon together and it felt like we had known each other for years!
here we are all together, Cindy took this using her tripod that she hadn't used before, clever girl!! ..
I was sad to leave them and if we ever go back (which doubtless to say we will, my hubby would live there!) we will surely meet up again, dinner on us ths time..:)

Lifting Hopes Charity Kit in Store

Hi everyone, I am still over in Florida, gladly it has warmed up some the last couple of days, today we are in for a treat, we are going to visit the Old Town for a Classic Chevy car show and the best bit we are going to meet a dear blogging friend Cinderelly!!
I am so excited to be meeting up with her and her family!! I will take pics and let you see :)

Just lately I read about contributions needed towards a charity kit...read urging people to Join in and contribute to this wonderful kit, so I had to do something towards it, please go to Lady V dZine's blog and read all about NFED , it's something I never knew about and my heart goes out to these Brave people, I just hope many people will go and buy the kit and do their bit to help find some help with the disease..


my contribution is the top pic on the add-on, I am so pleased to have done something small as it s towards this Wonderful Kit, a lot of well know names from Scrapland have also contributed too..:)

Hi to ALL....and some News..

Digital Candy Blog Train, Starts Feb 14th!!

Hi all..we made it to Florida safe and sound, I was out of my tree in Vegas, it's too much for me, but the wedding was great fun, I will post pics when I can get them onto my computer.
It's Great that we have an Internet connection in the villa so I will try to catch up with things..
I have some news for you about DC, Today is the first official day of SWEET WEEK.
there is Loads going on over there, Challenges, Scavenger hunt..oh all sorts of things click on the ad and see for yourself..:)

Freebie, Byee and 2 Awards!

Yikes I have so much to tell you I don't know where to start!
let me start off with the Best News of all! the news from the hospital is better than we expected! Thank God! My mum is starting treatment on Monday, she will have Chemo and Radiation Therapy, and hopefully in 8 weeks she will have more CAT Scan and MRI tests and they are hoping the tumour is shrunk enough to Operate on to remove it, she does have a large  tumour but they are  pretty sure it will be OK..so THANK YO UALL who kept us in Their Thoughts and Prayers, we are not out of the woods yet but it's looking a lot better now..
I have recieved 2 awards this week from 2 lovely ladies, this one is from Kicki

I am so honoured and say a BIG THANK you to both of you..:)
I will pass them on but just now I have loads to do as we are going on Holiday early tomorrow morning!
I will be away from the tomorrow the 25th Jan until the 14th Feb..it was all in the balance due to mum's illness but we are going now..mum & dad and the rest of the family didn't want us to Cancel it, my heart isn't in it but I don't want mum to feel she is the cause of us not going, she would be mortified if we did that..
We fly to Las Vegas for 5 days first as our friends are getting married there and then we fly to Florida for the rest of the Holiday, we should be returning on the 14th Feb..I am only just now sorting and packing, I wouldn't even consider it before this..
My next news is that I have been product testing a new Style for Bannerwoman.
It will be in her store very soon (Monday I think) so I have made a Freebie out of the bit's I made with the style, it's Wonderful! the more I play the  more I want to! it put's an outline around your elements & it's great for Alpha's too
